STEVE GEORGE
Steve George, is an accomplished mosaic artist in his own right. He prefers to create large scale mosaic sculptures.
His recent piece titled "Tuna" just won overall winner at the NZMA 6th National Mosaic Exhibition in Orewa.

Large scaled sculptured native NZ eel on river bed, titled "Tuna" - Maori word for eel.
Maori design influenced sculpture, created for The Magic of Mosaics Exhibition at Mangawhai Artists Gallery.
The exhibition featured artists from all over the Kaipara region.
This large scale piece was created over a few months at Foxhanger Studio. The videos and images here show the various stages of the creative process Steve went through before producing the final piece for display in the gallery.
